The Upchurch Group, Inc. a respected Architectural, Engineering, Surveying firm headquartered in Central Illinois with clients throughout the State seeks an experienced Architect to work out of our Mattoon, IL office. Candidate will be responsible for design and production, project management, client contact, scheduling and budgeting for a variety of architectural project types including but not limited to public education, higher education, public and commercial projects. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Masters of Architecture degree.
  • License or ability to be licensed in Illinois.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional work experience. 
  • Knowledge of Capital Development Board specifications, policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Building Codes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong design and graphic abilities.
  • Be task driven and excel at meeting deadlines by utilizing good prioritization skills and effective use of time.
  • Be able to establish good communication and working relationships with team members and clients.
  • Be self motivated, have a positive attitude, and committed to personal development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Revit a plus.

The Upchurch Group, Inc. a respected Architectural, Engineering, Surveying firm seeks experienced Civil / Structural Engineer with Illinois PE/SE professional license to work out of our Mattoon, IL office. Candidate will be responsible for structural design and the preparation of contract bid documents including final plans, specifications and cost estimates for transportation related structural and roadway projects. Candidate will assist the architectural department with structural design on some building projects. Candidate will have the opportunity for advancement to managing agent / director of all structural engineering projects.

Requirements:

PE / SE professional license in Illinois.
At least 5 years experience as a Structural Engineer
Working knowledge of Microstation and Geopak software
Knowledge of Illinois Department of Transportation specifications, policies, and procedures.
